Job summary

St. Luke's is seeking a licensed physical therapist to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

You will deliver patient-centered interventions, collaborate with healthcare teams, supervise PTs and students, and participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental programs.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, master's, or bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations to identify functional deficits and develops a treatment plan.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to the patient's needs using appropriate techniques, modalities, and equipment.
• Collaborates with patients to create short and long-term goals.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants as assigned; mentors PT and PTA students and observers as assigned.
• Educates patients and family members about prognosis and care options.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development.
