Miraval Berkshires Resort and Spa is seeking a part-time Movement & Motivation Instructor to lead individuals or groups in exercise activities, developing engaging programs to improve guests' health and well-being.

The role involves delivering safe workouts, demonstrating proper techniques, monitoring progress, and providing motivation while supporting a positive, inclusive culture at the wellness-focused resort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science/Physiology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in health & wellness fields including yoga, meditation and fitness.
• Ability to foster a positive work environment and encourage collaboration and teamwork.
• Capable of lifting moderate loads and performing equipment setups for activities.
• Professional fitness certifications from NCCA such as NASM/NSCA/ACE/ACSM/AFAA; CPR/First Aid certification.

Miraval Berkshires is seeking a commissioned based Movement & Motivation Instructor that requires the availability to work Sundays.

A Movement & Motivation Instructor is responsible for leading individuals or groups in exercise activities designed to improve overall health, fitness, and well-being. They develop and deliver safe, effective, and engaging workout programs, demonstrate proper exercise techniques, monitor participant performance, and provide motivation and support to help clients achieve their fitness goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Physiology, Recreation, Athletic Administration, Physical Education, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated relative experience in a Health & Wellness fields to include: yoga, meditation and fitness. Experience in proper use and management of cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
• Ability to foster a positive work environment and encourage collaboration and teamwork. A commitment to making an active and meaningful contribution to the culture of the team.
• The individual should be capable of lifting moderate loads and performing equipment set-ups for various activities.
• One or more professional fitness certifications accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) such as NASM, NSCA, ACE, ACSM, AFAA in Group Fitness (Personal Training in addition is a plus) and American Red Cross AED, CPR and First Aid certification.
