SUMMARY
At Miraval Arizona, we invite guests to explore the transformative power of mindfulness through movement, breath, and stillness. Our Yoga & Meditation Instructors are more than teachers—they are facilitators of presence, guides of inner awareness, and stewards of the Miraval experience. This role is ideal for someone who embodies authenticity, lives their practice, and thrives in a collaborative, guest-centered environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead inspiring and inclusive group classes in Hatha Yoga and other yoga modalities, tailored to a variety of experience levels.
Facilitate one‑on‑one sessions in yoga and meditation, offering personalized guidance rooted in compassion and expertise.
Deliver a range of meditation experiences including—but not limited to—Mindfulness, Pranayama, Lovingkindness, Yoga Nidra, Walking Meditation, and Sound Baths.
Engage with guests in a meaningful way, creating a safe and nurturing space for exploration and growth.
Collaborate with fellow instructors and resort colleagues to uphold the integrity and excellence of the yoga and meditation program.
Participate in departmental meetings, peer reviews, and ongoing professional development.
Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, contributing to the serene and welcoming environment Miraval is known for.

Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification; 500-hour certification preferred.
At least 4 years of in-person teaching experience across diverse populations.
Minimum 5 years of personal yoga and meditation practice.
Demonstrated experience in formal meditation techniques and mindfulness modalities.
Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
CPR/First Aid Certification required.
Willingness to teach across various yoga traditions and adapt to guest needs.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, guest-focused environment.
