Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Fitness Instructor to deliver engaging group fitness classes and personalized instruction for our wellness-driven guests at our luxury resort locations.

In this role, you will lead diverse classes, provide personalized guidance, and educate guests on spa and wellness offerings while upholding exceptional service standards within a resort setting.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized fitness certification and CPR/AED
• Luxury hospitality or resort experience preferred
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• Passion for health and exceptional service
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes including yoga, mobility, stretching, strength, Pilates, meditation, and wellness programming
• Provide personalized fitness guidance in a welcoming environment
• Conduct private training sessions on request
• Keep the fitness studio and equipment clean, organized, and presentation ready
• Educate guests on wellness offerings, spa services, and retail products
• Collaborate with Spa Leadership to develop seasonal wellness programming and events
• Maintain current certifications and adhere to safety protocols
• Deliver Forbes-level service standards in every guest interaction
• Other duties may be assigned

The Fitness Instructor delivers exceptional wellness experiences through engaging group fitness classes, personalized instruction, and guest education. This role inspires healthy lifestyles while creating memorable experiences that complement the spa and resort journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of group fitness classes including yoga, mobility, stretching, strength, Pilates, meditation, and specialty wellness programming.
• Provide personalized fitness guidance while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Conduct private training sessions upon request.
• Ensure the fitness studio and equipment are clean, organized, and presentation ready.
• Educate guests on wellness offerings, spa services, and retail products that support their wellness goals.
• Collaborate with Spa Leadership to develop seasonal wellness programming and special events.
• Maintain current certifications and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Deliver Forbes-level service standards throughout every guest interaction.
