Job summary

The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) in Washington, DC, seeks a Senior Movement Engagement Associate to advance Worker Justice and Gender Justice movements through strategic engagement and campaign work.

You will build relationships with movement groups and funders, lead campaigns to shift funder behavior, supervise an intern, and help grow the Movement Investment Project with sound learning and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder engagement and project management.
• Experience with campaigns to influence funders or programs.
• Commitment to equity and social justice.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement engagement tactics for Worker Justice and Gender Justice movements.
• Engage funder targets to take action on NCRP content.
• Hold funders accountable for commitments across NCRP programs (e.g. Power Moves).
• Assist in fundraising and budget monitoring.
• Attend conferences and lead presentations about the Movement Investment Project.
• Recruit nonprofit groups essential to the movements as members.
• Share resources with movement organizations about philanthropy.
