URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Associate Buyer for Free People’s accessories category, focusing on movement accessories. You will help create an exciting, timely product assortment for retail and direct channels to meet sales and profit targets.

You will support daily buying operations, own a product class, and collaborate across teams to plan assortments that align with financial goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in retail buying or a similar capacity.
• Strong communication skills – written and oral.
• Excellent organization and prioritization abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Detail oriented with a creative mindset.
• Team player with Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Support daily operations within designated buying area and partner with the buyer on tasks.
• Own a product class within the buying area and plan assortments.
• Guide assistants and manage daily activities of the team.
• Prioritize tasks balancing immediate and long-term needs.
• Research and develop products to drive sales in the marketplace.
• Communicate late deliveries and manage purchase orders for timely delivery.
