URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Free People Buyer in Philadelphia, PA to create a timely product assortment and execute a merchandising strategy that drives sales and profit.

The role requires interpreting customer feedback and market trends to develop action plans for category growth and increased profitability. The candidate will lead a buying team, manage inventory, negotiate prices, and collaborate on storytelling for web, emails and store presentations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years buying experience required.
• Creative problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Develop a compelling assortment aligned with store and direct strategies to meet/exceed sales and profits.
• Expand product line to enhance appeal to target market.
• Analyze velocity reports and respond to current trends.
• Ensure key fashion trends are represented; test emerging trends for selling viability.
• Manage inventory levels and flow; own planning and merchandising for all channels.
• Shop domestic and international market to fill voids and identify chase opportunities.
• Build strong story lines for web, emails and store presentations.
• Train and manage Buying team and delegate daily activities.
