Gaines Investment Trust in North Dallas is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to prepare apartment homes for new residents. You will perform hands-on maintenance to ensure each unit is clean, functional, and move-in ready.

You will paint interiors, repair drywall, handle basic plumbing and electrical tasks, install fixtures, and help maintain common areas. A strong work ethic and detail orientation are essential for meeting tight turn deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or related trades preferred.
• Ability to perform painting, drywall repair, basic plumbing and carpentry.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for new residents on schedule.
• Paint interiors and maintain high-quality finishes.
• Perform drywall repairs, texturing, caulking, and touch-ups.
• Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry tasks.
• Install fixtures, blinds, and safety devices as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
• Report issues promptly and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Meet turn deadlines to keep apartments move-in ready.
