Job summary

CYM Living is seeking a dependable Punch Technician to join our maintenance team in Chicago, IL. You will prepare vacant units for new residents by painting, cleaning, and performing basic repairs, escalating larger issues to the Maintenance Supervisor as needed.

You will gather daily supplies, document work with photos, log time on work orders, and ensure turns are completed on schedule. Snow removal and trash-outs are also part of duties as instructed.

Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented maintenance or handyman experience.
• Ability to perform painting, cleaning and basic repairs.
• Capacity to document work with photos and time entries.

Responsibilities

• Paint, clean and perform basic repairs on vacant units after move-out.
• Escalate larger repairs to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Gather daily supplies and inform supervisor of needs.
• Take photos before/after turning units and upload to work orders.
• Log hours on work orders and close turns as completed.
• Verify hours weekly and ensure correct status in Yardi.
• Notify supervisor when running low on supplies.
• Maintain accurate time punches and start on time.
• Assist with trash-outs and winter snow removal as instructed.
