Job summary

CRS is seeking a Move In Specialist in Phoenix to help customers finalize the move into temporary housing after insurance-covered losses. This mainly administrative role reviews documents, enters information, coordinates with departments, and ensures each step is completed accurately and on time.

You will interact with customers, adjusters, landlords, and internal CRS teams, staying organized across multiple claims while catching errors before they cause delays or extra costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of customer service experience.
• Experience in administrative, insurance, housing, or property-management tasks preferred.
• Experience reviewing contracts, leases, invoices, or detailed documents is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned temporary housing claims and determine what is still needed before the customer can move in.
• Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, landlords, property managers, and internal departments by phone and email.
• Work to arrange furniture, appliances, and household items for the temporary home.
• Confirm deadlines and important dates throughout every step of the process.
• Complete final confirmation calls with customers before they move in.
• Explain important move-in details and answer customer questions.
• Follow up on missing leases, signatures, approvals, payments, and other required documents.
• Finalize the move-in in the CRS system once all requirements have been completed.
• Enter accurate and detailed notes in Salesforce or other company systems.
• Review insurance coverage information to make sure costs remain within the available housing allowance.
• Identify and report possible errors, delays, missing information, or costs that have not been approved.
• Resolve customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Escalate urgent or complicated problems to management when needed.
• Provide overflow coverage for housing calls during periods of high call volume.
• Assist with reports, claim research, audits, and performance tracking.
• Work outside of the normal schedule when needed, especially during major storms, etc.
