Job summary

Canteen North America is hiring a Moving Coordinator for a full-time role in Belvidere, IL. The position coordinates move activities for office assets across locations and requires a valid driver’s license and ability to lift and move items.

You will log move requests, coordinate minor moves, assess furniture, and ensure safe handling of equipment. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF viewers/editors).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 100 pounds.
• Ability to use a tape measure and understand dimensions.
• Ability to read and understand architectural floor plans or construction drawings.
• Ability to walk, stand, and reach with hands and arms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates move activities for company office assets across locations.
• Logs new move requests in the move tracking spreadsheet.
• Coordinates and conducts minor moves of boxes, furniture, and file cabinets with assistance as needed.
• Coordinates move timing with requestor.
• Maintains organization of warehouse and shelled spaces; manages materials.
• Creates work orders for moves and coordinates tasks with requester.
• Drives a truck to meet scheduled move needs and loads/unloads as directed.
