Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support movable bridge construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance.
• Coordinate installation of mechanical equipment (gears, motors, reducers, hydraulic power units, cylinders).
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and equipment submittals for contract compliance.
• Assist with scheduling, procurement tracking, cost control, and subcontractor coordination.
• Monitor field operations for safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of mechanical bridge systems.
• Coordinate crane picks, heavy lifts, equipment installations, and critical activities.
• Track production quantities, labor productivity, and project progress.
• Prepare RFIs, change orders, daily reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
• Verify installation tolerances, alignments, and interface requirements between structural and mechanical components.
• Assist with constructability reviews and resolution of field engineering issues.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and controls during installation and startup.
• Support QA/QC and testing plans.
• Maintain project documentation, as-built records, and turnover packages.
