Job summary

California Bank & Trust, a division of Zions Bancorporation, is seeking a Customer-focused Client Service Associate (Teller) for the Mountain View, CA branch. You will be the face of the branch, delivering personal service while helping clients navigate their daily banking needs.

Essential functions include processing transactions, opening accounts, resolving issues, and maximizing cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ months cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
Working knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients needs.

Responsibilities

Responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identifies and addresses clients' needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
Resolve clients' problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
Identifies and maximizes cross-sell bank opportunities through exploring needs.
You may be reassigned to an alternate branch location depending on business needs within a reasonable distance (30 miles of branch location) and given proper notice.
Other duties as assigned.
