Job summary

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is seeking a shuttle bus driver to operate vehicles between base lodges and assist staff and guests. The role requires a valid Class C CDL with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.

Drivers will work in mountainous terrain with snow and ice, maintaining safety, vehicle readiness, and excellent guest service. Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing resort information, performing vehicle checks, and using SNOWsat for equipment check-in/check-out.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Mountain driving in snowy/icy conditions preferred.
• Clean driving record for the last 5 years.
• Familiar with automatic transmissions and minimizing wear on engines in mountainous terrain.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Shovel snow to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle bus with impeccable driving habits and high situational awareness.
• Regularly inspect shuttle bus for proper operation.
• Maintain fluids, tire pressure, lights, safety equipment, and cleanliness.
• Report mechanical issues to Vehicle Maintenance.
• Greet customers and provide resort information.
• Use SNOWsat to check equipment in and out.
• Report issues via SNOWsat to Vehicle Maintenance.
• Assist with other Mt. Rose duties as needed.
