Job summary

RLK-And-Company is seeking a Timberline Shuttle Driver to join our winter operations and ensure safe, friendly transport between Government Camp and Timberline Lodge. You will drive under various weather conditions, assist guests getting on and off, and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, driving with chains when required, snow and ice removal, and communicating clearly with guests and team members. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have Class C Standard Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• High School completion or equivalency
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be safety conscious, ensuring safety of guests and fellow employees.
• Must have adequate eyesight for driving, computer and paper work.
• Must have good communication and people skills.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Must have a good attitude and ability to be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe speeds up and down the mountain while keeping the shuttle service on schedule
• Assist guests with loading and unloading of vehicle
• Perform inspections of vehicle before and after every trip
• Install safety chains when required
• Removal of snow and ice before vehicle is put into service
• Clean inside and outside of vehicle after every shift
• Check and replenish fluids and fuels required to operate vehicle(s).
