Job summary

Snowbird is seeking a Mountain School Lesson Center & Facilities Attendant to support the Mountain School operations in a dynamic indoor/outdoor setting. You will focus on guest interaction, child supervision, and operational support for the 3- to 12-year-old programs.

The role requires physical stamina, comfort working outdoors in winter, and strong communication with families and instructors. This position is available as full-time, part-time, or seasonal, with weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Comfortable and experienced working with young children.
• Background in childcare, education, or recreation preferred.
• Familiarity with Snowbird’s Mountain School is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors in winter conditions and indoors in a high-energy setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate age-appropriate games and activities for young children (ages 3–12) in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Serve as primary attendant for 3- and 4-year-old programs and support all Mountain School children’s programs.
• Provide lunch-time supervision and attend to children’s basic personal needs.
• Assist instructors with lesson transitions and classroom management.
• Support guest check-in/check-out processes and assist with lesson sales as needed.
• Ensure safety, security, and well-being of all children in care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming learning center environment.
