Pico Mountain is seeking a Mountain Safety Attendant Lead to oversee the on-hill Mountain Safety Team and ensure guest safety and positive experiences. You will coordinate daily assignments, lead briefings, and monitor staff performance in all weather conditions on the mountain.

The role emphasizes safety education, guest service, and collaboration with other departments to maintain a premier resort environment. Part-time seasonal position with benefit of a season pass.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Knowledge of Killington’s environment and guest service expectations.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work in adverse weather and stand on snow in ski equipment.
• Must ski or ride proficiently.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily operations of the Mountain Safety Team and coordinate assignments.
• Conduct morning briefings and safety meetings; relay weather and event information.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and assign tasks safely and effectively.
• Serve as primary contact for team members and resolve routine issues.
• Support uniforms, facilities access, equipment, and supplies needs.
• Prepare incident reports and escalate safety or operational concerns.
