Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking experienced Mountain Safety Attendants to serve as the on-hill representation of safety and guest service.

Starting wage is $20.00–$23.00 per hour for winter seasonal 2026/2027, with full-time hours available. The role requires English fluency, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to work outdoors in alpine conditions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.
• Intermediate or above ability to ski or ride, with minimum Level 7 Safety.

Responsibilities

• Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and resort policies with guests and employees.
• Provide strong guest service to internal and external guests.
• Maintain mountain safety materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mountain Safety Attendant

We are seeking experienced Mountain Safety Attendants to serve as our on-hill representation of safety and guest service. Promote safety within our sport by providing quality feedback and communication to our guests. Enjoy the outdoors and be the friendly face of the resort on the mountain.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr – $23.00/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time hours available
• Minimum Age: 18 years and older
• Housing Available: Yes
