Qualifications

• Ability to learn and consistently follow lift operating procedures, safety requirements, and emergency protocols.
• Strong situational awareness in a safety-sensitive operating environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Ability to provide friendly, patient, and solution-oriented guest service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and respond to direction and changing operational needs.
• Ability to work a flexible seasonal schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.
• Ability to meet the physical and environmental requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned lifts safely and efficiently, maintaining loading/unloading areas and monitoring passenger flow.
• Complete required pre-operation, operating, and shutdown procedures; report mechanical concerns or hazards.
• Maintain ramps, mazes, fencing, signage and surrounding lift areas for safe loading and skier traffic.
• Provide welcoming guest service by assisting guests on/off lifts and offering clear directions.
• Monitor rider behavior, reinforce safety rules, and escalate unsafe situations as needed.
• Monitor lift access and pass scanning; report suspected pass misuse or theft.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates during operations and incidents.
