Vail Resorts in Breckenridge, Colorado, is hiring a Winter Seasonal Sous Chef to join the culinary team. You will assist in managing the kitchen, supervise staff, and ensure food quality and safety for a premier dining experience.

Starting wage is $57,784 to $64,064, with full-time hours, housing availability, and growth opportunities through epic training and development programs; ServSafe preferred or required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of kitchen experience required.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or certification preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of start.
• Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the culinary team, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain facility and food preparation standards, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation per regulations.
• Assist with menu development, production, and station playbooks.
• Oversee warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, and waste reporting.
• Address guest issues to support GX scores and guest satisfaction.
