Job summary

Lone Mountain Land Company is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the Moonlight Basin Community Association and related sub-associations, ensuring efficient operation of the existing and future infrastructure within the development plan.

The role emphasizes budgeting, vendor management, coordination with a leadership team, and delivering a world-class community for residents and guests in Big Sky, MT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1+ year related work experience.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HOA/property management preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends/nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual OpEx and CapEx budgets reflecting board objectives and cash flow.
• Review budgets with Regional Community Manager for integration with overall budgets.
• Assist supervising OpEx work and CapEx improvements, including vendor proposals and quality control.
• Manage contracts for exterior grounds, parking lots, snow removal, trash, and landscaping programs.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and variances from budget.
• Assist in planning and leading quarterly and annual board meetings.
• Oversee existing and future infrastructure across communities and condominiums.
• Coordinate with accounting on budgets, AR/AP, and reporting.
• Promote professional, client-focused attitude with stakeholders and the public.
• Support sharing of best practices and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
• Contribute to due diligence for new acquisitions and assess deferred maintenance.
