The Housekeeping Manager oversees all aspects of residential housekeeping operations, including private residence cleaning, laundry, supply inventory, scheduling, training, discipline, and inspection of residence properties, including off-season cleaning projects. The Manager is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and supervising Housekeeping Associates and creating weekly schedules, all while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude with member owners and Associates. This role serves as the primary liaison between member owners and the housekeeping team.
This position is approximately 70% in the field and 30% in the office. Work hours will vary depending on location. Conditions in the field are typical of those found at a private residential club, including frequently going indoors and outdoors, exposure to weather, and working on uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces. When in the office, the work environment is characterized as a typical office setting, with moderate temperatures and noise levels.
