Job summary

Communities for Recovery seeks a Recovery Housing Navigator & Coordinator to provide person-centered housing navigation and MOUD-supported recovery services for Travis County residents, including transitioning youth. Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant experience in recovery housing or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of MOUD, OUD, harm reduction and recovery pathways.
• Ability to travel throughout Travis County and nearby regions.
• Bilingual or multilingual ability, English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong coordination, case management, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to self-referrals, walk-ins, and referrals from healthcare, treatment providers, recovery housing and community partners.
• Complete timely, individualized housing assessments, identifying needs, goals, barriers, and supports.
• Explain housing options, admission requirements, costs, program expectations, and participant rights clearly.
• Identify options that align with goals and MOUD needs and support.
• Coordinate referrals and facilitate warm handoffs to residences, treatment, and community services.
• Assist with identification, income verification, documentation, and MOUD-related information for housing applications.
• Coordinate transportation for tours, appointments, and placements when needed.
• Maintain contact post-referral, document outcomes, troubleshoot barriers, and support retention and recovery.
