Job summary

Native American Community Clinic seeks a licensed Public Health Nurse to provide programmatic and clinical oversight of its MAT services, overseeing both office-based MOUD and the public health dosing program. Qualifications

  • RN license required; Public Health Nurse certification preferred
  • 3+ years in substance use treatment, MOUD experience valued
  • Experience supervising staff and managing clinical/public health programs
  • Experience developing public health initiatives and harm-reduction approaches
  • Familiarity with harm reduction, culturally responsive care, and Indigenous values
  • Strong leadership, care coordination, and data-driven improvement skills
  • Experience across disciplines and EHR systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide programmatic and clinical oversight of MAT services across office-based and public health dosing programs
  • Provide nursing leadership and supervision to MAT staff
  • Supervise MAT nursing staff in both settings
  • Supervise administrative and social support staff ensuring wraparound services
  • Develop and implement innovative public health programming addressing care gaps
  • Coordinate with medical, behavioral health, harm reduction, and traditional medicine teams
  • Maintain administrative systems for documentation, communication, and billing
  • Monitor budgets and seek reimbursement opportunities for sustainability
  • Use data to track KPIs, identify gaps, and drive improvements
  • Ensure program quality, compliance, and patient safety with leadership
  • Lead expansion of public health services based on community needs
  • Promote a compassionate, accountable team culture aligned with Indigenous values
