Job summary

Vocational Instruction Project is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to support MOUD dosing, assessment, and monitoring on the Mobile Medication Unit and at the clinic. The RN collaborates with the Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director to ensure safe delivery and ongoing clinical oversight of MOUD recipients.

Responsibilities include dosing support, clinical assessments, vital signs review, overdose reversal education, adverse reaction reporting, and accurate documentation in the electronic

Qualifications

  • Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in an OTP, substance use disorder, or behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of MOUD and medication safety and monitoring.
  • Willingness to work on a mobile medication unit and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dosing support and medication administration consistent with OTP requirements.
  • Assist with clinical assessment, vital signs, and medication monitoring.
  • Support overdose reversal medication distribution and education.
  • Observe for and report adverse reactions or clinical changes to the Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
