Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and support electronic systems for Sports Car racing programs. You will collaborate with GM groups, embed with a racing team, and travel to events domestically and internationally to ensure top performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Motorsports Engineering or CS and 3 years of experience in automotive electronics, CAN, Ethernet, and telemetry, plus experience with SiL/HiL/DiL environments and strong

Bachelor’s degree in Motorsports Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or related occupation.
3 years of experience with automotive electronic systems including CAN, Ethernet, and telemetry; documenting requirements and translating them into functional solutions; using SiL/HiL environments.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with GM groups to design, develop, test, and support electronic systems for vehicle functionality and performance.
Embed with a Sports Car racing team and provide frontline support; communicate with the GM Motorsports organization.
Support virtual development and simulation environments including SiL, HiL, and DiL; manage a dynamic workload. Travel domestically and internationally.
