Porsche Penske Motorsport in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Performance Engineer to join our IMSA program. You will analyze data, develop and validate performance improvements, and collaborate with race engineers and tire and aero teams across domestic and international events.

The role requires strong data analysis, vehicle dynamics expertise, and the ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines, including live strategy support during races.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in an engineering role with data analysis expertise.
• Expert in vehicle dynamics with 4+ years' experience in suspension systems.
• Strong motorsports experience in tire performance and strategy optimization.
• Proficient in MATLAB, HH Timing, WinTax, and Microsoft Suite.

Responsabilités

• Collect, analyze, visualize, and share time series data from multiple sources.
• Develop and validate tire performance tools and data infrastructure.
• Interpret and optimize suspension and vehicle dynamics parameters.
• Support strategy analysis during races using HH Timing.
• Collaborate with Race Team and Tire Engineering on development.
• Provide pre- and post-event data analyses for strategy decisions.
