Job summary

Bosch Motorsport North America is seeking a Motorsport Customer Application Engineer to support on-track development, integration, and validation of motorsport electronic systems. You will work with engine controllers, vehicle control units, and telemetry modules while collaborating with internal teams to meet project requirements.

The role requires strong data-analysis skills, experience in motorsport or related environments, and willingness to travel 50–80 days per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least five years of job-related application engineering experience.
• Experience with data-acquisition and data-analysis tools to evaluate technical system performance.
• Experience in professional motorsport, Formula SAE, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site application engineering support for motorsport products at customer facilities and tracks.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Develop and document control strategies for internal-combustion and hybrid powertrains.
• Develop and validate vehicle electrical architectures and network topologies (CAN, Ethernet).
• Develop, maintain, and execute virtual development using MATLAB/Simulink, HIL/SIL/DIO.
• Create and maintain internal software tools and scripts using MATLAB, Python, C#, or similar.
• Share technical guidance and coordinate knowledge transfer across teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally 50-80 days per year to support customers.
