Regal Rexnord Corp in the United States is seeking an Application Engineer for PES Motors & Drives. You will serve as the technical liaison for valued customers, translating drawings and requests into motor and drive solutions while supporting qualification tests and design changes.

The role involves coordinating with global engineering, leading customer-site deployments, evaluating applications, and driving profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• 3–5 years in HVAC, commercial appliance, refrigeration, or electric motor industry.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with emphasis on documentation.
• Ability to write specifications, test plans, and application notes.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong relationship and team-building skills including conflict resolution.
• Proactive, energetic and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ability to travel and work at a customer site for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison for PES customers and qualify motors and other solutions.
• Understand applications to establish tests and optimize tools.
• Be main contact between customer engineering and global engineering teams.
• Support routine product changes, deviations, and sample development.
• Act as SME in motor technology at customer sites.
• Provide solutions for customer applications.
• Evaluate customer applications and identify value opportunities while driving growth.
• Conduct competitive analysis on motors from other manufacturers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through timely issue resolution.
• Assist flow-down of customer requirements to internal design specs.
• Lead or support internal qualification on design changes and transitions.
• Support basic teardown analysis for root-cause and corrective action.
• Support Digital Customer Experience (DCX) initiatives.
