Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Ground Maintenance Mechanic (Motorized) in Minneapolis to maintain motorized Ground Support Equipment. This role requires 6 months experience in a vehicle/heavy equipment maintenance environment and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will perform inspections, minor troubleshooting, repair, and component replacement; assist leads; complete data entry and coordinate with Delta personnel.

Qualifications

• Safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Must have English proficiency and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds.
• Willing to work fixed and/or rotating shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Applies appropriate tooling, equipment, and material to accomplish minor maintenance on Ground Support Equipment.
• Assists a Lead Ground Maintenance Technician on motorized equipment as needed.
• Completes data entry to record work assignments and coordinates with Delta personnel.
