Job summary

Adams County Colorado is seeking a Title and Registration Technician I to process title applications, vehicle registrations, and related tasks for the public. Responsibilities include explaining taxes and fees, performing VIN inspections, and handling cash with accuracy.

The role supports in-person, phone, and email inquiries and may require occasional overtime at various county branches. Candidates should have at least one year of customer service experience, a high school level reading/writing

Qualifications

• Must read and write at a high school level.
• One year of customer service experience is required.
• Ability to become deputized and obtain Colorado Notary certification.
• Bilingual in any language is highly preferred; bilingual pay offered.
• Reliable transportation is required to travel to different branches.

Responsibilities

• Process title applications and issue motor vehicle registrations per statute and policy.
• Explain taxes/fees and how they are calculated.
• Maintain compliance with county policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
• Perform VIN inspections in designated areas and cashier transactions.
• Work overtime as needed and support Elections/Recording departments when required.
• Assist the public in person, over the phone, and by email.
