Elmore County is seeking a DMV Specialist in Mountain Home, Idaho to perform clerical and customer service duties related to titles and registrations. You will process titles, renewals, and license plates, handle payments, and assist customers with various vehicle transactions under state guidelines.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and solid knowledge of motor vehicle processes. Travel to satellite offices is possible as needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior office or customer service experience preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.
• Valid Idaho Driver’s License is required.

Mansioni

• Process vehicle titles, registrations and license plates.
• Handle payments, issue receipts, and balance cash drawer daily.
• Assist customers with title transactions and provide accurate guidance.
• Review and process various title documents and registrations.
• Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers and maintain records.
• Operate computer terminals and basic office equipment as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and procedures.
