The University of Iowa Department of Pathology is seeking a temporary Motor Vehicle Operator II to perform courier tasks, picking up and delivering patient care supplies and specimens on a scheduled route, driving University vehicles between Medical Center campuses.
Anticipated hours are Mon/Tue/Thu 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Wed/Fri 3:15 pm - 7:15 pm, with an hourly rate of $18.49. Valid driver's license and the ability to meet UI Fleet Safety standards are required.
The Department of Pathology is recruiting for a temporary Motor Vehicle Operator II to, under general supervision, perform a variety of courier-related tasks. The courier is responsible for pickup and delivery of all patient care supplies and specimens according to a schedule and route or as dispatched. Judgment is used in proper handling of specimens/cargo to maintain specimen and supply integrity. This will primarily be a route from Medical Center University and Medical Center Downtown, with occasional routes to Medical Center North Liberty to provide emergent courier needs, driving a University of Iowa vehicle.
Anticipated hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, and Wednesday and Friday from 3:15 pm - 7:15 pm. Hourly rate of pay will be $18.49.
