Job summary

The University of Iowa Department of Pathology is seeking a temporary Motor Vehicle Operator II to perform courier tasks, picking up and delivering patient care supplies and specimens on a scheduled route, driving University vehicles between Medical Center campuses.

Anticipated hours are Mon/Tue/Thu 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Wed/Fri 3:15 pm - 7:15 pm, with an hourly rate of $18.49. Valid driver's license and the ability to meet UI Fleet Safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow instructions is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet The University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standard are required.

Responsibilities

• Specimen and supply pick up.
• Supply and specimen delivery.
• Drive according to all laws in the State of Iowa.
• Service vehicle.
• Communications and dispatch.
