Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Dispatcher in the United States (Ogden, UT area) to coordinate transport services and schedule drivers to meet demand. The role requires US citizenship, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and Hazmat/radioactive movement training.

• US citizen eligible for Secret Clearance.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum six months of relevant experience; substitutions allowed.
• Must receive Hazmat and radioactive materials movement training.

Responsibilities

• Direct routing for trucks from 1 1/2 ton to 26,000 lb tractor-trailer.
• Maintain routing/map files to ensure punctual pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure permits for loads are obtained prior to loading and convey information to drivers.
• Monitor truck locations via radio/phone to avoid delays.
• Report and receive direction via radio or cellular phone.
• Perform other duties as assigned during light demand periods.
