Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate transport requests and schedule drivers. You will direct routing for trucks from 1½ ton to 26,000-pound tractor-trailer rigs and maintain driver contact to ensure timely deliveries.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and must obtain a Secret Clearance. HAZMAT and radioactive material movement training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a current motor vehicle driver's license.
• Must receive training for movement of HAZMAT and radioactive substances.

Responsibilities

• Direct routing for trucks from 1 ½ ton to 26,000-pound tractor-trailer rigs.
• Keeps routing directions/maps to ensure expeditious pickups and deliveries.
• Monitors truck locations by radio/phone to avoid delays.
• Can be assigned other duties during low-demand periods.
