Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Motor Technician to support assembly, disassembly, cleaning and testing of motor components on a night shift. You will work from drawings and follow quality standards, tools and 6S practices to keep a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong math and written communication, and experience with machines and electrical systems. Legal US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, clean, disassemble, reassemble, and adjust motor units to meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
  • Complete inbound inspections, stage parts, remove couplings with specialized tools, and inspect key motor components.
  • Prepare and test motor assemblies, including rotors, stators, seals, pulse wheels, coils, and insulation systems.
  • Install bearings, reassemble motors, flush regreasing systems, and complete electrical, insulation, surge, balance, and vibration testing.
  • Maintain a safe, organized workspace by preparing motors for painting, caring for tools, supporting 6S, and helping improve processes.

In this role, Motor Technicians support the assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and production of motor components while following drawings, guidelines, and quality standards.
