Job summary

FLANDERS Inc. is seeking skilled Motor Technicians to join the Evansville Operations team. You will disassemble, inspect, repair, test, and reassemble basic electromechanical motors, ensuring quality and ISO compliance.

The role requires reading diagrams, performing lubrication, and coordinating parts flow with foreman. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical experience or trade school background.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical equipment or two years of trade/technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Read work scope to determine job status and describe problems.
  • Disassemble basic electromechanical equipment and note parts configuration.
  • Mark parts, document work, and maintain ISO-compliant records.
  • Assemble motors and equipment including bearings.
  • Pre-test electrical and mechanical systems and ensure proper lubrication.
  • Test and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment; connect leads and test at proper voltage.
  • Inspect parts for wear and damage; perform proper parts identification.
  • Maintain thorough paperwork throughout repair processes.
  • Operate safety equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
