Job summary

FLANDERS is seeking a Motor Assembly Technician I in Longview, TX to assist with basic to moderately complex electromechanical motor assembly. You will read job cards, perform subassembly, and support final motor assembly while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and hands-on mechanical or electrical experience; trade schooling can substitute. Expect teamwork, documentation accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols in a dynamic workshop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical equipment preferred.
• Two years of trade or technical school education may be substituted for related experience.

Responsibilities

• Read job cards to determine status, work authorizations, limitations, and serviceability.
• Assemble components of motors and other electromechanical equipment.
• Perform basic testing and document results accurately.
• Maintain documentation and follow safety procedures throughout the assembly process.
