Job summary

FLANDERS is seeking a qualified AC/DC Motor Technician for our Longview, TX operations. The role involves disassembling, inspecting, repairing, testing, and reassembling complex electromechanical motors and equipment.

On-site work with emphasis on safety and quality control. The successful candidate will read job cards, perform tests, document outcomes, and maintain thorough repair records while adhering to safety protocols for the Low Medium Voltage Test Panel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of mechanical or repair experience.
• Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions.

Responsibilities

• Read job cards to determine job status and required service.
• Disassemble and inspect electromechanical equipment.
• Assemble motors and equipment including bearings, gears, and seals.
• Test electrical/mechanical equipment and document results.
• Maintain thorough paperwork from receiving to QC.
• Observe safety rules for Low Medium Voltage Test Panel.
