Barnard Construction Company, Inc., based in Bozeman, Montana, is looking for an experienced Motor Grader - Blade Operator to run motor graders on civil construction projects in Columbus, NM. You will perform rough and finish grading, level and spread materials, and use laser systems and reference stakes to achieve exact elevations and drainage, with blade depth, angle, and tilt set as required.

Minimum five years of construction experience and at least two years operating a motor grader are

• Minimum five years of construction experience.
• Minimum two years operating a Motor Grader/Blade.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate a Motor Grader/Blade for precise passes.
• Use laser systems and stakes to achieve exact elevations and drainage.
• Set blade depth, angle and tilt as required.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Work with on-site management instructions and schedule.
• Operate in extreme weather and long hours as needed.
