Job summary

Louisiana Bridge Builders in Lake Charles, LA seeks a skilled Motor Grader/Blade Operator II to support the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project. You will operate heavy equipment to grade, level, and shape terrain according to blueprints and site plans.

Requirements: 3+ years of proven equipment operation; NCCER certification preferred; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; relocation assistance for approved candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience operating construction equipment.
• NCCER Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to complete tasks such as grading, leveling, clearing debris, digging trenches, and pushing materials.
• Shape terrain, move large volumes of earth, rocks, and rubble according to blueprints and construction plans.
• Perform rough and finish grading with high precision
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Perform basic routine operator maintenance, lubrication, and fueling of equipment.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Operate machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
• Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
