Job summary

Louisiana Bridge Builders in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Motor Grader/Blade Operator II to support the construction of a major bridge project for LADOTD. You will operate heavy machinery to spread and level materials, shape terrain, and maintain roadways in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with construction equipment and may prefer NCCER Certification. The position offers relocation assistance if needed as well as comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to grade, level, clear debris, dig trenches, and move materials.
• Shape terrain and move earth, rocks, and rubble according to plans.
• Perform rough and finish grading with precision.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Perform basic routine operator maintenance, lubrication, and fueling.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew using signals.
• Operate efficiently and safely; perform other duties as assigned.
