Prince William County Public Works Construction and Operations is seeking a Motor Equipment Operator II to join the drainage team. You will help operate county equipment in stormwater maintenance and construction projects, with opportunities for training and certification and advancement within the county.

The role requires a CDL within 1 year, one year of heavy construction experience, and a reliable, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• 8th Grade Education and 1 year of related experience.
• Full-time equipment operator in heavy construction; tools experience.
• Knowledge of gravity pipe installation and repair techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use GIS, Mapper, Tablets and Windows software.
• Must obtain Class A CDL within 1 year of hire.
