Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Firmware Engineer II – Motor Control to design, implement, and test embedded systems for motor control applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to advance battery, motor, and electronics development across our global engineering network.

Role emphasizes model-based design, control algorithms, and robust firmware. Travel up to 10% and mentorship of junior engineers are expected within a fast-growing, innovative environment.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of embedded C/C++ experience.
• Working knowledge of closed loop control theory.
• Experience with CI/CD, HIL, and unit testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded systems for motor control.
• Model, simulate, and implement advanced control algorithms.
• Develop and document control system architecture.
• Create test plans for firmware and subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and globally.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Work with component suppliers for proper selection and input into future needs.
• Document and communicate project status to teams and management.
