Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Video / Motion Designer in the United States who will craft engaging motion content for brand, marketing and internal channels. You will design, animate and deliver templated systems that enable fast production while maintaining high-quality visuals and brand standards.

You will collaborate with designers, copywriters and program managers to manage multiple projects, ensure timely delivery and adapt assets for multiple formats and channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to translate creative concepts into compelling motion and video experiences.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging video and motion design assets for brand, marketing, and internal communications.
• Design and animate motion graphics for digital, social, web, presentations, and internal channels.
• Develop and maintain templated motion and video systems for fast, consistent reuse across teams.
• Edit video content, including pacing, color correction, audio refinement, and basic compositing.
• Ensure deliverables align with brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, creative leads, and program managers.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare assets in multiple formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
