Job summary

Titus Group in the United States seeks an Applications Sales Engineer to help grow our motion control and damping business across North America. This hands-on role blends mechanical engineering, applications development and technical sales to turn customer challenges into production opportunities.

You will engage with OEMs in appliance, automotive and industrial markets, define requirements with engineering teams, and guide projects from evaluation through production readiness.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering, applications engineering or technical sales background.
• Strong communication, commercial awareness and customer relationship skills.
• Practical mechanical design and manufacturing experience; CAD proficiency (NX, SolidWorks or AutoCAD).
• Experience with hydraulic damping, mechanical mechanisms or related engineered components is a plus.
• Ability to manage projects independently and work cross-functionally.
• Engineering degree preferred; relevant industry experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities for hydraulic dampers and other motion control products, building relationships with OEM customers.
• Work with customer engineering and purchasing teams to define requirements, develop technical solutions and advance projects through evaluation, validation and production.
• Coordinate samples, testing, technical demonstrations and customer follow-up.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and cost estimates with internal teams.
• Create and review CAD models, drawings and specifications; support tooling, fixtures and gauges as needed.
• Manage new product introductions, including milestones, schedules and production readiness.
• Support existing product lines, engineering changes, manufacturing troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams; travel to customers and industry trade shows.
