Job summary

University Television at University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks a Multimedia Graphics Designer II to contribute to visual content across broadcast, video, digital, and marketing-communications platforms. You will create motion graphics and graphics packages for broadcast and digital series, promotional materials, digital assets, print materials, and visual design supporting other needs.

Working under the Art Director, you will ensure creative work is high quality and aligned with Nebraska Public

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in graphic design, visual communication or related field with 3 years of professional graphic design experience across multiple platforms and formats.
Experience with motion graphics and design for video; ability to create visual concepts and deliverables for digital/print marketing and communications.
Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, layout, and brand application.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects).
Ability to interpret project goals, develop visual solutions, and incorporate feedback to revise work.
Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Create motion graphics and graphics packages for broadcast and digital series.
Develop promotional campaign materials and digital/social assets.
Produce print materials and support other organizational needs with visual design.
