Job summary

Nebraska Public Media is seeking a Multimedia Graphics Designer who contributes to visual content across the station’s broadcast, video, digital, and marketing-communications platforms. Projects include motion graphics and graphics packages for broadcast and digital series, promotional campaign materials, digital and social assets, print materials, and visual design supporting other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field and three (3) years of professional graphic design experience across multiple platforms.
• Experience with motion graphics and design for video, and creating and executing visual concepts and design deliverables for digital and print marketing/communications applications.
• Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience.
• Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, visual communication, typography, layout, and brand application.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
• Ability to create high-quality visual assets across multiple platforms and formats, including broadcast/video, motion graphics, digital, marketing and print.
• Ability to interpret project goals and creative direction, develop effective visual solutions, and incorporate feedback to revise and refine work.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, organize work effectively, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, consistency and quality.
