Motion Industries in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect products, ensure standards, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.

You will document tests, monitor logs, and collaborate with teams to improve procedures. A high school diploma and 0–3 years' experience are typical, with Lean/Six Sigma knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Familiar with industrial repair parts and processes is a plus.
• Must be knowledgeable in 5S Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
• Very organized and detail oriented individual.

• Provides assistance to technicians regarding quality control procedures.
• Completes documentation showing tests have been carried out and records whether the product meets standards.
• May monitor serialized products and maintain inspection logs.
• May work with other teams to implement new protocols in response to deviations.

SUMMARY:The Quality Control Technician oversees and inspects products to ensure standards are met, and/or repairs in the shop ensuring proper procedures are followed to improve effiency and results. The employee also ensures that the shop is clean and organized and makes adjustments when applicable.JOB DUTIESProvides assistance to the technicians when neccessary regarding quality control procedures.Completes documentation to show that that tests have been carried out and records whether the product meets the standards or not.
